Mount Vernon, AL (PRWEB) July 30, 2006

Gary Johnson the democratic nominee for State Representative District 102 has released his campaign platform to his constituents in district 102. Gary Johnson platform reaches across the board touching a variety of issues and what he calls very important to this state. Candidate Gary Johnson says that every citizens and small business owner in district 102 and the state will know that he is own their side once elected State Representative in November.

“I am glad that the July primary runoff elections is over, so that the voters and constituents can focus on who has the best platform to representative them in November.” Gary Johnson also states that is good to know the candidates personally, their families and their job titles, but it’s better to know their stands on the issues facing this state and their everyday lives. Gary Johnson contends that he is a moderate democrat and is proud to be a democrat. Mr. Johnson says another important issue in this race is to put aside the differences and race of color.

Alabama has problems and Alabama has a bright future, but the next four years Alabama need leaders working to build and invest for its future. “We can’t turn back the time!” says Johnson.

His campaign platform priority is a minimum wage increase, affordable healthcare and prescription drug program, education, public safety, immigration policies, prison reform and small business and corporate tax reform. Gary Johnson says his goal is to put the people first. My opponent is focused on the big corporate firms, special interest groups and Pac’s and not the people. It’s about sincerity and not propaganda, and if he wants to talk about Christian values we can, because I know what Christian values are because I am a pastor, says Johnson.

Gary Johnson Campaign denies that this race is already decided because of Chad Fincher victory in the July 18th runoff election. The Johnson Campaign says the real race has just started. “It’s time to debate the real issues and not the political parties.” The Johnson campaign believes heavenly within that this November, House District 102 will be a toss-up seat. “The people can see for themselves over the past decade since this seat been in the republican control, very little has been done in regards to jobs, quality of life and effective leadership. It’s time for a new generation of leadership.” says Johnson. Gary Johnson is challenging Mr. Fincher for forums and debates.
