Mobile is the third most populous city in Alabama and is the county seat of Mobile County. Located at the junction of the Mobile River and Mobile Bay on the northern Gulf of Mexico, the city is the only seaport in Alabama. Botanical Gardens- Nature at its best

Located in the heart of Mobile, the Mobile Botanical Gardens is one of the key tourist spots and offers a rare mix of cultivated areas and nature trails. Within its 100 acres, you can enjoy visiting Rhododendron Garden, Camellia Winter Garden, Fern Glade, Japanese Maple Garden, Herb Garden, and collections of hollies, magnolias, roses, and perennials, as well as a 27-acre longleaf pine habitat. Mobile Alabama is known for its carnival season that extends from November to January. Many tourists go to participate in this event. Bystanders can receive souvenirs from masked participants riding in colorful floats.

Mobile Bay Bears AA Baseball

The Mobile Bay Bears arrived in Mobile with the construction of the new Hank Aaron Stadium prior to the 1997 season. The 6000-person seat stadium is named after baseball’s all-time home run king and Mobile native Hank Aaron. The team, which plays in the Southern League, is the Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks major league club.
